Recently, I spoke with an excellent young lady who has a new invention that she want to market to the world. Obviously, she already includes a day job, but sherrrd like to use this as her ticket out of the 9-to-5 world, and help launch her career as a successful venture, innovator, and entrepreneur. I so applaud such desire to succeed in the free-market. I believe that's what makes America great, as there is opportunity for individuals who wish to do it now, and therefore are prepared to take risks. Now then when it comes to this for second we could?
Can someone actually bring a brand new invention to promote when they still have a day job? Yes, In my opinion they are able to, there are lots of testimonials of those who have. No, it will not be easy, but even though you only spend a couple of hours a night place together a pretty decent business plan, focus on your prototype, perform the patent searches, and do market studies to understand if what you would like to produce, in case your original thought and concept can in fact allow it to be in real life. You'll probably determine that is great is the idea, but nobody is really thinking about buying it, and you are not going to get rich selling it.
That's okay, as this study you do in advance and also the business planning that you strive to understand, well, these are the first stesp, regardless of what the invention is. Of course this invention doesn't makes sense, i am not saying your next idea won't. What you need to do is keep your mind going, focused, and not enable your grandiose ideas of optimism try to escape with it. You need to be systematic inside your approach. Obviously, this really is my advice towards the young gal who actually includes a great invention, but I can't tell you what it's, it is a secret for the time being.
There are a variety of steps you have to go through, those steps take some time, and require patience, if you have each day job, then you've all the time in the world don't you? Thus, you should start right away, do your research, your company planning, and find out if it's something people will buy. If so, start designing your prototype, and find out if people like it, if they do go file a provisional patent, patent pending, and perform some test sales on eBay, Craigslist, and/or Amazon.
Try some social media together with your family and friends to ascertain if you will get some buzz going, if things remove, then you can quit your job. If not, keep thinking, and dealing on your next project, because now you must more experience of product launching. Please consider all this and think onto it.
